Vibration White Finger

Occupational exposure to hazardous levels of vibration can cause vibration white finger, also known as Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS).   In addition, exposure to hazardous levels of vibration can also cause a condition called Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Claims for vibration white finger can be made against any employer who has exposed its employees to excessive levels of vibration.  We have successfully claimed on behalf of: –

  • A ground worker at GSE Engineering Limited and Cogley Brothers Limited who used jackhammers, stilh saws, disc cutters and whacker plates.

  • A council worker who operated jackhammers, kangos, disc grinders and steel saws.
  • A ground worker at Balfour Beatty who used jackhammers, stilh saws, floor saws and wacker plates.
  • A ground worker at Kennedys/Carillion Utliity Services who used jackhammers, stilh saws, road saws, reciprocating saws and wackers.
  • A ground worker at MP Burke who used jackhammers, stilh saws, road saws and wacker plates.
  • A ground worker at Enterprise/DCE who used jackhammers, stilh saws, road saws, wacker plates and reciprocating saws.
  • A ground worker at Sillars/Works Infrastructure who used jackhammers, road saws, breakers and stilh saws.
